The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine offers one to one support; cancer resource navigation services; in-person, virtual and recorded wellness programs and activities; cancer support groups for men and women; complementary therapy; travel and food assistance; and a variety of comfort items - all FREE - to anyone impacted by cancer in Oxford county and its' surrounding towns.
The three primary "stressors" common to cancer patients that can be obstacles during the treatment and recovery process are 1. Financial 2. Physical. 3. Emotional.
Programs at the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine are specifically designed to address these areas of stress for anyone dealing with cancer. Our community based approach to cancer support sets us apart from other programs and is an important part of our model of care.
