Who We Are
The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is a  501c3 non-profit organization funded by individual and corporate donations, private foundations, and fundraisers. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, years beyond treatment, living with metastatic disease or are a loved one of someone with cancer, we have programs and services to support you. You are not alone. We are here for you.

The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine serves cancer patients in Oxford county and its' surrounding towns.  We offer one to one support; cancer resource navigation services; in-person, virtual and recorded wellness programs and activities; cancer support groups for men and women; complementary therapy; travel and food assistance; and a variety of comfort items - all FREE - to anyone impacted by cancer - because no one should face cancer alone.

The three primary "stressors" common to cancer patients that can be obstacles during the treatment and recovery process:
            1. Financial
            2. Physical
            3. Emotional

Programs at the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine  are specifically designed to address these areas of stress for anyone dealing with cancer.  Our community based approach to cancer support sets us apart from other programs. is an important part of our model of care.
